Maps, compass, GPS and special mountaineering equipment will be accessible for each SwissHike group of levels L2-mountain and L3-summit.

    Swiss Transfer Ticket
  • It takes you from the airport or border railway station directly to your destination. And back again.
  • Use your computer to buy and print out your ticket from the comfort of your home. Present your printed ticket to the inspector
  • Children under age 16 travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one parent holding a Swiss Transfer ticket. The Swiss Family Card is available free of charge together with your booking.
  • This pass is only available to non-residents of Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein. Only available online.
  • Valid for your journey from the Swiss border or one of Switzerland's airports to your destination and back (Swiss border railway stations, Map of validity (PDF))
  • The ticket is non-transferrable.

  • The transfer to and from your destination must be on one day and via the most direct route
  • Two transfers within one month
  • The Swiss Transfer Ticket is not directly available from SBB ticket counters in Switzerland. However, you can purchase it at all Swiss Travel System points of sale in your own country or online from SBB Ticket Shop
  • Only persons domiciled outside Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein are entitled to purchase this ticket
  • Children between 6 and 16 years of age who are accompanied by at least one parent holding a valid STS ticket travel free of charge with the complimentary Swiss Family Card
